Features
The whole life of a document, in one place
From the moment you issue an invoice until the DGII accepts it, and for the years you must keep it.
Complete issuing
Invoices, credit and debit notes and special documents, with ITBIS, withholding and foreign buyers. Each type's rules are checked before signing.
Signing and certificate custody
Your digital certificate is stored encrypted and only used to sign. Every signature is logged: who, which document and when.
DGII submission and tracking
BillingSoft sends each document, checks its status and tells you whether it was accepted, conditionally accepted or rejected, with the reason.
Printed copy with QR
Download each document's PDF with the QR code and security code your customer uses to verify it with the DGII.
Receiving and commercial approval
Receive the e-CF your suppliers issue to you, with the automatic acknowledgment, and approve or reject them from BillingSoft.
Ready for contingencies
If the DGII does not answer, BillingSoft keeps signing and sends the documents as soon as it can. In a notified contingency, it shows you the deadlines that apply.
How it works
From setup to your first accepted document
BillingSoft always shows you what is left before you can start issuing.
Set up your organization
Enter your company details, upload your digital certificate and the e-NCF sequences the DGII authorized. We guide you through every step.
Issue your documents
From the app or through the API. BillingSoft assigns the e-NCF, builds the XML the DGII requires and signs it.
BillingSoft sends it to the DGII
It submits each document, checks its status and tries again if the DGII is unavailable.
You know every outcome
See the status in the dashboard or receive it in your system by webhook. Download the PDF and the XML whenever you need them.

Your ERP, POS or PMS issues documents through a REST API and receives the outcomes through signed webhooks, without dealing with the DGII directly.

Manage several RNCs with one sign-in and switch organizations without signing out, with a different role in each one.

For developers
An API you integrate once
Send a JSON with the document's details. BillingSoft takes care of the e-NCF, the XML, the signature and talking to the DGII.
- API keys per system, rotated without downtime
- A retry with the same Idempotency-Key never issues a document twice
- Signed webhooks: accepted, rejected, document received, contingency and sequence running low
- OpenAPI documentation with an example for every operation

Frequently asked questions
What people usually ask us
What is an e-CF?
It is an electronic tax document: the digital version of the invoices and notes that carry an NCF. Each e-CF has an e-NCF number, is signed with the issuer's digital certificate and is sent to the DGII, which accepts or rejects it.
What do I need to start issuing?
Your company details, your digital certificate (.p12 or .pfx) and the e-NCF sequences the DGII authorized. BillingSoft guides you to upload them and to register with the DGII the addresses where you will receive documents.
Can I keep using my current system?
Yes. Your ERP, POS or PMS can issue through our API and receive the outcomes by webhook. If you prefer not to integrate anything, issue from the BillingSoft app.
What happens if the DGII is unavailable?
BillingSoft keeps signing your documents and sends them as soon as the DGII answers. If you cannot generate e-CF at all, it helps you record the notified contingency and shows you the deadlines to regularize.
How do you handle consumer invoices under RD$250,000?
For those invoices the DGII only receives a summary (RFCE). BillingSoft builds it from the signed document, sends it and keeps the full e-CF.
How much does it cost?
It depends on how many documents you issue per month, whether you issue from the app or through the API, and how many RNCs you manage. Write to us and we will send you a proposal.
